Three LL block grades has been tested on the "SNCF shunt test bench". The 3 materials was rejected du to the bad results. The test procedure foresees 5 samples per material and a part of samples has gotten the conform results. This task includes all the communications actions realized to promote the DECIBELL project whether it is in the group Faiveley Transport or to the actors of our business sector and the general public.

This task consists in making tests of shuntage on three formulations of LL (Low Level of friction) brake blocks selected. The objective of this action is that at least a prototype of sintered LL brake blocks pass the test of shuntage.

This task consists in making the study and the realization of several formulations of sintered brakes block LL. Various tests will be realized on the bench test n°1 and following these last ones three formulations of sintered brakes block LL will be retained. To be able to realize the tests it will be necessary to make 150 prototypes by formulation.

This task consists in making certify by the UIC the bench test n°1 of FTG with the aim of improving the control of our values of measures concerning the tests of braking. Indeed, on this bench test will be made various processes of measures concerning the simulation of braking with the prototypes of sintered brake block LL.

This task will be present throughout the project. It concerns the planning of the project, the follow-up of the spending and the available, the organization of meetings and the presentation of the results.
